Anna Hazare to campaign against Congress in Hisar bypoll Ralegan Siddhi: In what may come as a crucial blow to the government, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare announced that he will campaign against Congress in the upcoming Hisar bypolls.
Anna Hazare said that he has received letters of support for a stringent Lokpal Bill from all parties except the Congress and now he plans to do a nation-wide tour, starting with Hisar. He added that if he is not able to make it to Hisar he will send a video message to the people of the district in which he will clearly state not to vote for any Congress candidate. "I will appeal to voters in poll-bound Hisar in Haryana not to vote for Congress as it deliberately did not pass Jan Lokpal Bill," he said while talking to reporters on Tuesday morning. Anna said that until Congress renders their support to the Lokpal Bill, he will go to five poll-bound states and tell the voters not to support any Congress candidate. "I will not tell people who to vote for. Locals know who is capable and who is corrupt. They will decide. But I will urge them not to vote for any Congress candidate. No matter how good they are, they will be under a remote control," said Anna.
