With a view to fostering a sense of inclusion in multi-cultural Britian, The
Goan Association (UK), GoanVoice UK and myself have sponsored a collection of
books to be deposited with the Swindon Central Library. The Library was most
welcoming and we have been promised a shelf relating to Goa books although
ofcourse they could not guarantee this shelf-space indefinitely. These newly
released books hopefully will be of literary and historical interest to the
Goans living in Swindon and any one else interested in Goa.
If you or your organisation wishes to sponsor books to libraries in the UK
where a large confluence of Goans lives, please do get in touch with me.
