Gabe Menezes posted: " The Bombay High Court at Goa on Monday ruled
that the Governor is a Public Authority and does come within the ambit
of the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
COMMENT:
Very strange that the Goa Governor took the position he took, unless of course:
a: The house he is residing in - was his ancestral house or
b: He was paying rent to enjoy the accomodation - from his own pocket and
c: The workers (cooks, gardners etc) were paid from his pocket and
d: He paid for the food and alcohol bill and
e: He is above the law.
