50 years ago Goa was invaded and thus begun the tyranny upon the Goan people.
Sorry it was not the Goan people who invited the invading army into Goa. Those
making tiny noises were traitors and mere pawns. Example Naguexa Carmali was a
mere bystander at a meeting by the ghanti lohia and was lathi charged and
arrested. Thus became a freedom fighter in the eyes of the invaders.
The soviet veto S/5033 stopped the withdrawl of the invading army from leaving
Goa. Goan women were raped by the Sikh Regiment Centre. Many houses were looted
of their belogings. This was just the beginning of the oppression and tyranny
faced by many a Goan family. Today thee tyranny has taken an other turn. The
land of Goa is being usurped by the mining legends. Our airport at Dabolim was
a great steal. A ghanti writer who was in Goa at the time of the invasion
commented that the Dabolim was far superior than the british had left. Today
Goans have found a solution many are reobtaining their Portuguese citizenship.
Many Goans have a chance to obtain Portugurese citizenship specially
Administracao Noronha, they should avail of this opportunity.
