JoeGoaUk <[email protected]> reposted a letter from the Herald 23 Jan 2010.

In it, were the following points:

1: The death of Ravina WAS DUE TO ‘criminal medical negligence’ as
stated in the Health Committee report.

2: The wording ‘criminal’ has been used, as there is a serious MOTIVE
behind the death.

3: The post mortem report will be challenged when the time comes as
there are lot of NEGLIGENCE on the same

COMMENT:

a: Is medical negligence in Goa now determined by "Health Committees"?

b: Is there a new definition (now prevalent in Goa) as to what
constitutes 'Criminal' medical negligence?

c: Is there a new definition of "Negligence" in Goa?

I ask because I do not know

jc

ps: My questions should not be construed to mean that Ravina was or
was not treated appropriately or that the doctors were or were not
negligent. It is just that "words" have "meanings".
