In Bombay before 1960 political parties were not involved in civic elections after 1960 when bombay was annexed by Maharashtra the political parties were allowed to contest civic elections and there on began the rot filth garbage slums illegalconstructions watershortage encroachments etc etc etc etc etc in bombay………………political parties have deep pockets filled with donations from builderslobby mininglobby SEZlobby Corporatelobby Industrialistlobby Traderslobby and have Star Campaigners including bollywood actors and have print electronic ndtv cnnibn headlinestoday timesnow aajtak starnews indiatv to give coverage for their rallies at azadmaidan shivarjipark mmrdagrounds and candidates associated with political parties have a better chance of winning elections……………the same is not the case with citizen candidates or independent candidates who have a meager budget no star campaigners no mediasupport due to which it becomes difficult for them to win municipal – zillaparishad – gramsabhas – villagepanchayat – assembly – loksabha – rajyasabha elections.
In the last 15 years the Congress-NCP & ShivSena-BJP focused their entire energy in serving the builders lobby in bombay…..so no matter what the water shortage problems infrastructure problems traffic problems transportation problems the builders lobby got more Floor space index and clearances from various agencies of Maharashra govt and BMC departments……and expect the builders lobby in bombay to continue to benefit no matter which political party controls the maharashtra govt. & bmc……..another tragedy for bombay is neither the congress-ncp neither the shivsena-bjp have any interest in protecting the last few bits of openspaces mangroves saltpanlands lakes ponds gardens wells playgrounds forestland from being encroached by builderslobby & slumlords……what is even more shameful is that all the four rivers in bombay i.e. oshiwara poisur mithi dahisar rivers have also been allowed to be encroached and narrowed………even the maharashtra govt. agency mmrda encroached the mithi river through the bandra-kurla complex……..whatever land in possession of mmrda in other parts of bombay is now being passed on to private builders lobby for builiding residential complexes instead of utilizing land for public infrastructure gardens utilities etc…….…also take note of how around 500 acres of land surrounding the sahar airport has been passed to a private operator for commercial exploitation without any environmental impact assessment report……that private operator a few months back sold some 70 acres to another party for more than 5000 crores………all those people in bombay who are silent spectators and turning a blind eye to the rampant destruction of bombay by Maharashtra govt, bmc, mmrda, mhada, builderslobby, slumlords, etc will have to pay a heavy price if there is another cloudburst. After 1947 the Congress Party ruled most of India continuously for 25 to 40 years……during this period….neither the congress party strictly enforced the two child policy……neither improved infrastructure – industries – office/factory job opportunities in rural & backward districts……..neither passed stringent laws against corruption femalefoeticide moneylaundering blackmoney hawalamoney swissmoney……neither did anything to setup fast track courts to deal with divisive politicians & their hired goons……..neither passed laws to stop fraudulent & allurement conversion activities……..neither passed laws to stop forcible re-conversion activities..…..neither made landencroachment a non-bailable offence……neither did anything to deny voting rights to landencroachers…..….neither did anything to network all rivers to solve the water shortage problem……neither passed any laws to protect openspaces mangroves saltpanlands ponds lakes wells forestlands gardens playgrounds from being encroached by builderslobby & slumlords…......neither did anything to improve electricity generation..........OFCOURSE the BJP NCP ShivSena MNS SP BSP TMC Communists etc etc etc also did nothing for economic progress…….the only reason why India is economically progressing is because of the billions & billions of dollars riyals pounds etc which Indians working abroad send to India every year & billions & billions of Dollars received from exports of agricultural produce, textilegarments, goods, services (including bpos callcentres kpos softwareexports), tea, fruits, etc etc etc from India to western countries……..it is with this foreign exchange that the Indian govt. is able to import fuel gas diesel petrol cng lpg which keeps the Indian economy running. Bombay Municipal Corporations annual budget is around 25000 crores from which 70% goes in paying salaries – da – pensions – etc to its 1.3 Lakh marathi employees……10% goes for the benefit of some unscrupulous corporators & contractors….10% goes in purchasing vehicles garbage trucks vehicle repairs maintenance computers stationery petrol diesel electricity bills etc etc etc……10% goes in raw materials for roads drainage waterpipes etc etc etc. A Church is a place of God and it is expected of men & women to wear full length clothes when they attend church service……but if anyone who wears short or vulgar clothes and attends the church service they are defiling the church but since the Clergy have become secular they have no interest who wears what clothes to attend church service they are only interested in how much money gets collected in donation boxes. Why are church halls and church grounds being used only for parties and wedding functions……its time lay catholic associations started using church halls & grounds for science camps – population control camps – anticorruption camps - environmental protection camps – combat training camps – ias/ips training camps – health camps – govt. job camps – wildlife protection camps – openspaces mangroves gardens playground forestland saltpanland protection camps – rivers ponds lakes wells protection camps - etc etc etc……………..there is no need for the lay catholic associations to take permission of the parish priest for using the church halls & grounds because the church – parishhalls – churchgrounds – parishschool – graveyards – parishbuildings everything has been built by money & land donated by lay catholics. The priority of Bishops – Cardinals – ParishPriests in India is not of improving the health wealth housing of the lay catholics…….the priority of the catholic clergy is to send everyone to heaven…………….The priority of Catholic Missionaries in India is not to use their foreign funds for the welfare of those poor catholics whose ancestors were converted long ago but to use the foreign funds for allurement & fraudulent conversion activities…….here in Bombay many of our poor catholics are leaving the catholic church because they don’t see any monetarygains housingfacility economicwelfare etc from the catholic church-clergy-missionaries. During Portuguese rule the natives of Bombay were known as Portuguese Christians…..when the British East India Company took over the natives of Bombay came to be known by the name Eastindians……after 1947 and reorganization of states when bombay became part of Maharashtra there was a debate by the Bombay EastIndian Association to adopt the name Maharashtrian but since the marathi people have monopolized the name maharashtrians for themselves due to which the idea of eastindians adopting the new name maharashtrians was abandoned and the name eastindian still remains…………The Bombay EastIndian ( ******** http://www.bombayland.blogspot.com/ ******* ) community is Suffering because all their ancestral agricultural lands surrounding their villages in Bombay was grabbed by the Government, Slumlords, mmrda, BMC, landmafia, mhada, collectorsoffice…AND….Alcoholism–Infighting-Jealousy………AND……Driven by poverty the eastindians ( ******** http://www.east-indians.com/ ********* ) were unable to get the requisite permissions for rebuilding their own dilapidated houses and were forced to barter a floor with the builder in return for one to live in decently, without giving thought to where the next generation will reside and without bothering the bad quality materials the builder will use to construct the new Ground+1 house which will result in monsoonal problems – leakages problems – walls/floor as thin as paper and the resulting cracks…AND…daily consumption of the unhealthy & unhygienic bakery maida pavs…AND…lack of interest in education…AND…lack of interest in agitating for 5% job quota in bmc, police, mmrdaoffices, mhadaoffices, rationoffices, collectorsoffice, citysurveyoffices, town planning dept, urban development dept, building proposal dept, suburbanrailways, metro, monorail, airindia, ongc, hp, indianoil, rbi, nationalized banks, bombay/kalina university, iitpowai, central/state govt. undertakings, public sector undertakings and other government institutions operating in bombay…AND….lack of interest in reading the Word of God i.e. The BIBLE.
