The subject topic caught my eye! Bravo to those conducting culinary demos - they should advertise in schools and colleges so that the young can cultivate this hobby. In respect of the Goan food restaurants, I had been to the outlet in Fontainhas,Panjim and it was indeed disgusting to see the number of flies near the entrance. Furthermore, the services were slow and some of the items in the menu were not available. The washroom was not upto the standard. Such outlets should upgrade their ambience based on these lines - hygiene should be 1st priority and a janitor to clean the washroom on hourly basis ensuring there is toilet roll and soap dispenser duly filled. Priority should be given for the eradication of flies with proper insectocutors and waste disposal closed areas. The w.c. should be partitioned with frosted glass enclosure and the floor dry at all times - perhaps renovation would make the toilet look good. The Menu should be updated on daily basis according to availability. The Waiters should be educated with the basic details of the ingredients in the food. The table should be laid with cutlery and glasses. The Waiters should always take the orders for the drinks first and ensure to serve the same and then come for the food order. Strange that such outlets beg the guests to vote for them and yet do not upgrade their services which should corespond to the high prices guests are already paying. Above suggestions will help cater to clients in a professsional manner and develop better rapport! MARIA DO CEU DUBAI
