AVERTANO LOSES OUT ON MARGAO PI APPOINTMENT.
Comment:
This is an open clasic proof that the Goa Police is arm-twisted controlled
by the ruling dispensation.
The mass transfers that have been recently effected in the Goa Police is
nothing but the respective MLAs clamouring for the pliant Police Inspector
for his/her Constituency/area. We are sure that the BJP MLA of Tivim
Constituency has a 'Matka' enthusiast at the Mapusa Police station, so on
and so forth.
SO MUCH FOR MANOHAR PARRIKAR'S ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CORRUPTION.
This will not happen 'when Goa Su-Raj Party rules this state of Goa. The
Home ministry will have no say whatsoever as to which police personnel is
posted where as long as the basic requirement of period of posting in one
place is satisfied. This will be the prerogative of the DIRECTOR GENERAL OF
POLICE.
