Marlon Menezes Thank you for your interesting, if nonsensical response to my post.
a) I do not know from which depths of your warped imagination you have concluded that I am a Vascocar, perhaps you discovered this startling fact after imbibing a few tots of the local brew at your favourite pub. b) You should be more upset that your **quote world famous all over Goa unquote** market is now in the deplorable state that it is. When was the last time you visited the Mapusa market? I go there every day. If you have been there recently, then I would advise you go again to the area near the fish market near the place where the compost pits are supposed to be. Take a keen look at the open gutter there too. c) While you are at it, you can waddle in the raw sewage that is oozing out of the cess pits at the Kadamba bus stand. d) Being a resident of Moira which is practically on the doorstep of Mapusa, I am as much a Mapsekar as you are. It is we people from the villages skirting Mapusa that fuel its economy. e) You seem to have caught the bull by its tail (again the effect of a feni fired imagination?). Reginaldo Lourenco is not a Mapsekar to whom I complained but the erstwhile Chairman of the KTC and I had every right to 'waste his time as you call it' f) To round this off let me tell you to get your facts correct before you write nonsensical replies to letters. Nero fiddled whilst Rome burnt. It seems it is Mapsekars like you who are wallowing in the filth while Mapusa is getting dirtier by the minute. @ Francis Rodrigues: Go ahead let your imagination run rife. -- Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2012 15:41:42 -0700 (PDT) From: marlon menezes <[email protected]> To: "Goa's premiere mailing list, estb. 1994!" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Goanet] Mapusa, the failed city - NOTI have to agree with Marlon, except on one niggly bit.?Tony, now from Velim, is originally from Karmali, now? cohabiting infra the Bahamas, antes in their pantes,? with bosom-brother - one of the three-member M.B.B.S.,? I find it extremely humorous that you, a resident of Vasco would dare comment about Mapusa. Vasco is so quaint, it makes a remote village in Bihar look like a bustling metropolis.? Yes, we do have a parking problem in Mapusa - this is a reflection of our higher levels of economic development compared to you lesser Vascoites who keep?trespassing our haven in your overfilled KTC buses. Regarding your reply from Reginald Laurenco, my suggestion is that you wait for another few more years. We Mapusacars have better things to do, than reply to some irrelevant request from an immigrant from Vasco. In any case, he is quite busy dealing with very mess being created by your Vasco brothers who keep migrating to Mapusa in the jam packed KTC buses.??And you have the nerve to talk about garbage?? As a blue blooded, true son of the soil, I find it very saddening to see my Mapusa being ruined by the immigrants from Vasco. ?This is written in the hope that some one like Nasci will hear the cry of agonized?Bardezkars and do something about preserving Mapusa.?
