Theory of Evolution
It took Charles Darwin (1809 – 1882), 47 years to add to what Anaximader, the
ancient Greek philosopher had already told the world, that life developed from
non-life, and that man descended from animal – the theory of evolution. Then,
24 years later, when the world was still dizzying over the puzzle, he solved it
himself on his deathbed: “How I wish I had not expressed that theory as I did!”
His ride on fantasy seemed to have run out of steam.
Yes, he should not have expressed it the way he did, although he could be
excused for saying the first part as he did. Life did develop from non-life
when God breathed life into Adam and Eve, as all people untouched by scientific
escapades believe. And so were animals and the rest, before man and woman
opened their eyes to the world. Evolution happened only thereafter, because
nothing evolves without a beginning, and the beginning was beyond Darwin.
Man evolved from an ape, how unimaginative! If, by so evolving, man could
still command the ape, why should the ape remain an ape, except for reasons of
only aping men? And, by the way, where did the ape come from?
Evolution does happen all the time. Some of it naturally, like global warming
for example, although proponents of the greenhouse theory think differently.
The other is man-made, like scientists raking up what Darwin had already put to
rest. They refer to certain eras on geological timescale to justify an
evolution of species, and quote irresponsible figures in billions of years
during which it happened. And the ‘dinosaur’ is thrown in to add to the
confusion. Makes us wonder when will it all end, and where.
Since inception, no species - whether humans, animals, plants have crossed
from one of their own makeup into another, or even attempted to, except perhaps
by artificial experiments. There is no evidence of amphibians evolving from
reptiles or vice versa; nor mammals from reptiles, and vice versa. Leave alone
all the scientific simplifications, we have yet to see an ape giving birth to
a human being, or a chimpanzee wearing braziers.
Hence this theory of human evolution is either a misconception, or a deliberate
attempt at distorting reality.
