In 1961 the neo colonials wanted to take over the mines via nationalization.
The Japs (major importers of the mud, now it is the chinos) who used to play
golf at Miramar stuck their feet in our lovely sands therefore allowing the
prosperity of a few. Meanwhile the neo colonials made a deal with the
prosperity by estabilishing a Mines and Minerals Trading Corporation in Vasco.
A copy of the export bill is sent to these chaps. After the cheque is received
in USD  a report of the transaction is sent to the RBI who collect the USD
through the bank of the prosperous. The control of this trade is by the
colonials as you can see now they have taken action by shutting mining
activity. Goans have been barking at the wrong tree. We do not have the guts to
tell the colonials to bugger off.

Merv 2012,  Do you mean our Chinese comrades simply see mud/ore and
iron the way you view gold? I'm sure our friend Xac could be of help
in sorting out issues like these... FN
