Hello, I am Nigel, I wrote the article in the Times of India. I agree with FN, Cecil and other who have taken a very practical view of the subject. It's absolutely disgraceful how one poster has made imputations against Lorna Cordeiro, Goa's Edith Piaf. Not surprised, though, since we Goans tend to have the habit of pulling our fellow Goans above ourselves down. The agreement, if at all there was one, was between Lorna Cordeiro and Bardroy Barretto. For anybody else, there's no privity of contract, since this is a private matter, and there's no need to interfere. Unconcerned parties making allegations reflects badly on the party himself, not on the two parties of the contract/agreement. Of course, I am sure that this won't deter the Goanet accuser, who usually is not averse to rambling on and on about pointless things. He will probably continue to do so.
