Looks like this young Chinese Indian is disappointed with the Portuguese information officer Leo Lawrence. BTW, the Goan and Indian press accurately reported on the one specific instance of rape in Margao, mentioned by Lawrence. Here is the quote from the February 14, 1962 issue of Diario de Noite and from a letter by Laxman Pai in the February 21, 1962 issue of Times of India. QUOTE not only the city of Margao but all the population of the province felt humiliated upon hearing the news of the rape of a girl, a teacher in a primary school, by some Indian troops.
