Looking forward to reading this book. "Stray Mango Branches ... and other stories with Goan sap By Fatima M Noronha" In the meantime.... Since it is mango season , it will not be long before we get to salivate over JoeGoaUk's priceless photos of delicious looking Goa mangoes. But for those domiciled in this North American part of the world ,here is some information that may or may not be be well known: Ataulfo mangoes from Chiapas in Mexico are almost as good as the Alphonso. http://www.google.com/search?q=ataulfo+mangoes&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=_ER0Ud73EMPLrQH_vIDgCQ&sqi=2&ved=0CEkQsAQ&biw=1440&bih=745 They are a little smaller but the seed is very small so all in all it is quite a pleasing mango. Ataulfo mangoes are currently on sale for $8 a dozen at most grocery stores. Regards, E.
