Going by JC's explanation, Parrikar must also be thrown out from the Assembly for being a Portuguese citizen. Good to know I too am a Portuguese citizen. I am going to have a glass of Porto in celebration of my newly added status. But then i need to "re-affirm" my Portuguese national. A wee bit tricky, indeed. But I'll think about it. I was forwarded a pdf document on Portuguese nationality and citizenship which I read selectively but has forgotten most of it. I am awaiting the court's decision in the Valanka vs Caitu case. My fear it won't be settled till this current Assembly ends. Cheers to myself and all those pre-1961 born for we are all Portuguese citizens. >From EC to JC, thanks.
