An individual wanted to purchase a car, booked, paid for everything including registration. It is known that the vehicle cannot be taken on roads, unless the registration and number is obtained,and it is an offence The services are offered through the dealers at a cost, which makes it logical and reasonably efficient .The person was denied the pleasure of taking possession of the vehicle on an auspicious day and also because he had to leave Goa the next day .The demand for Goa EPIC is senseless, as the Bombay resident by no stretch of imagination can provide this audacious demand. The willingness to provide I.Tax card, passport copy was to no avail, The dealer wanted him to cough up Rs 8000. for the purpose, or asked him to get the registration done on his own. The dealer knew well in advance of the paid booking and the short time at his disposal. Is this extortion of bribe or grease money to make thim\ngs happen. The person was in no mood to comply. An Indian citizen of Goan origin needs ONLY an epic card to buy a car in Goa only and why ? Non resident Goans are precluded in buying cars in Goa.?
