The last chapter is signed but not delivered. The life`s book is unfinished and incomplete to be printed. Another prominent Cuncolkar writer and dramatist will be remembered for literary and dramatic interests, He has documented the history of Cuncolim for prosterity, for them to be proud of of their ancestry, and roots, It was a painstaking job to unearth the hidden truth and he did it with his astute mind and scholarly aptitude.Fr spent his time well in pursuits of his talents, besides his priestly mission and other activities for the Diocese of Goa, Sometimes he resented for not getting the support and understanding of his superiors to take his plans to greater heights of excellence, limited with financial resources He battled valiantly his debilitating illness with hope and courage with support of his near and dear ones, He was indeed a role model for them to emulate, as proud torch bearer His interests continued to engage him to the very last, but his memory was failing him at times and he was not even aware of it.,.When I met him last, about a fortnight ago, his enthusiasm had not diminished a bit. I am glad that it was my last planned encounter, on a day with heavy downpour. The meeting did not seem to end for an hour or so. He was planning more literary output, realising little that it was all over at this time, His mind nevertheless continued relentless in pursuits of goals he had set for himself, determined to complete the unfinished task at all odds. In the end the illness took better of him and he failed to conquer one last test'.He remained a pillar of strength and steadfast determination to the very last, Nothing could break his indomitable spirit, jest for life and his determined willingness to steer his directions in the pursuits of his tastes and interests My condolences to the bereaved family.
