On the occasion of the 9th day of the “Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav” festival cultural programme organized by JCI St. Inez in association with Shree Mahalaxmi Saunstan Samiti and Bhartiya Sanskrutik Mandal, three individuals making significant contributions in various fields were felicitated.
Shri Apa Teli, retired Superintendent of Police was felicitated with the “Senior Citizen” Award for his exemplary life contribution to the Police Force, Public Life and community service. Fr. Ralin De Souza, Director of Don Bosco Oratory, received the “JCI Outstanding Young Person” Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the promotion and development of sports and child and youth development. Master Sairaj Prabhu Khope, a student of Aryan Mushtifund Higher Secondary School, was felicitated with the “Junior Citizen” Award for excellence and personal milestones achieved in education, art and culture. The award function was held at Shree Mahalaxmi Temple Hall Panaji to honour outstanding persons with significant contributions to the society. The individuals were felicitated by Hon’ ble Goa Chief Minister, Shri Manohar Parrikar, who was the chief Guest for the occasion along with the Guest of Honour, Arjuna Awardee Brahmanand Shankwalker. Sachin Kurtikar, Zone President JCI India Zone XI, graced the occasion.
