A cursory opening of the Mid-day Times shows a horrendous number if incidents of violence against women. Rapes, abduction, blackmail sexting, murders and acid throwing sometimes by close kin is too common.
Granted that Bombay is a city of 20 million people, but the numbers and the types of aggression against people unable to defend themselves is appalling.
