Dear friends, I am excited to invite you to attend the inauguration of Viva San Joao!, an exhibition of my photographs in the marvellous Trindade galleries at the Fundacao Oriente premises on 23rd November. It is an honour to be the first in a series of artists/photographers who will be invited to pay tribute to a specific work (I have chosen a painting of a well), and I am further greatly honoured that Amitav Ghosh will formally open the exhibition at 5.30 pm.
