My desktop is much faster than my ibook. cross-compiling would be a big time saver. Especially later with distcc. Setting up a PPC target toolchain shouldn't be to hard. Just substitute isolinux with yaboot. Generating the squashfs is the same. Heck, the initrd should be the same. If Scratchbox can generate the packages its very little work. Getting Gobo on my ibook is a big personal motivator. The big issue is getting Scratchbox to create the needed packages. -- Carlo J.
