I don't get list email at my gobo system and can't easily copy
attachments between them.  If I make a MailRecipe format that
can be reviewed from a mail client easily, will it be used?

Any bz2 space saving is maybe being mostly lost by MIME and
tar on recipe files, which are usually fairly small IIRC, so
maybe even that is unnecessary.  The list archive gets gzipped
eventually anyway.
