OK, Thanks for your help! I am now getting mail from the users list! What
was preventing it before I don't know! I will create a thread there for each
problem! I have just re=installed 013 and have not updated it with any of
the newer packages yet, so all is working at present, but I will try to
re-create my earlier problems!
Part of my problem is that I don't know where to look for the
startup/shutdown scripts. Those that I have found in ../Boot don't seem to
have the entries I expected! Some basic documentation here would not go
amiss!
If syntax errors are rare then I must be unlucky in finding two applications
with errors! KMyMoney has a component that calls a non-existant class method
in one of its own classes and Wine has a component with a missing semicolon!
