Didn't understand that you only wanted to add groups required by
packages on the CD to the cvs when I last replied. I think we could
safely add most groups and users, not only those that are needed by
packages on the CD.

So far I have found the following groups:
httpd
mysql
cron/frcon (maybe they could share a group, cron?)
rlocate/slocate (same here, slocate?)
haldaemon
messagebus
mail
postfix
postdrop
postgres
clamav
cyrus-imapd

And the following users:
httpd
mysql
fcron
haldaemon
messagebus
mail
postfix
postgres
clamav
cyrus-imapd
