Hi all, There'll be a Scripts and Compile release soon (hours, perhaps; otherwise tomorrow when Jonas gets time), so there's a code freeze on it starting now. Check in bug or compatibility fixes only, and anybody running SVN please update and test to see if anything goes wrong.
New functionality in these releases: - Use flags - Bazaar support - Mercurial support - Cabal recipe_type - ContributeRecipe script - Innumerable small additions and bugfixes There are (as far as we can remember) no API breakages here, so on that criterion it's only a point release, but there are some big additions there if people feel it needs a minor bump. Opinions? ContributeRecipe may be a little controversial; it does work, as far as I know, but I'm really the only one who's tested it. If people could give that a test as well it'd be great, and we can see whether to pull it or not. The panel is at http://mwh.geek.nz/cr/, and recipe committers I a) remembered and b) saw posts from to -recipes or -devel within the last month or so can log in there with the email address they used for that. As yet, the panel does not do commits itself, so it's safe to log in and approve/reject test submissions. Feedback welcome.
