I tried booting the 014.01 LiveCD with an external USB cd-drive, it worked fine even though the xorg conf file needs to be tweaked to get the right 1024x600 resolution of the Eee PC 900. I really miss the gobolinux filesystem hierarchy and don't like the xandros/debian package management.. Now the question is how to get wifi, webcam and hotkeys to work. Perhaps one can use the original kernel provided with the xandros-Eee OS? I wonder if it's the kernel that makes it boot so incredible fast? Also I think there is other Eee specific xandros packages one could use.. I'm thinking of an icewm + ROX-Filer desktop. (I'm using OroboROX on this machine but icewm has a nice built in tasktray and system tray and is lightweight..) -- /Jonatan [ http://kymatica.com ] _______________________________________________ gobolinux-devel mailing list gobolinux-devel@lists.gobolinux.org http://lists.gobolinux.org/mailman/listinfo/gobolinux-devel
