You would need to explain better what you meant, but the answer is likely to be no, there's no such plan, we don't think that the additional functionality of it beyond what can already be achieved is useful, and tracking additional non-tree metadata post-installation is both complicated and leaky. But I'm not really sure what you meant by "set". We do not want categories; you can already install packages with only dependencies for that sort of "grouping"; and while the explicit/automatic distinction could be handy sometimes I don't see a way to achieve it. Where possible, where we have time, and where we are able to be helpful, we do try to help new users. That may be at the expense of response to other messages that are not requesting help and not providing patches, which then get lost in the past. -Michael
