The main reason I do not want to pursue this course is b/c I have ideas for new distro that I am sure are outside the scope what you and other "core" members will accept for Gobo. For example, the new distro will move toward Javascript as main scripting language over Shell scripting b/c, clearly the writing is on the wall, Javascript is the new "lingua franca". Also, "Gobo" does not have very good connotations as a word. It is reminiscent of "goober". I know it may sound silly, but I think it makes a difference. Marketability is important to acceptance. I understand you and some other members would like to see the Gobo project carry on. And I was very hopeful for it myself for a long time. But I think now, Gobo makes more sense as a stepping stone to a broader project. -- trans _______________________________________________ gobolinux-devel mailing list gobolinux-devel@lists.gobolinux.org http://lists.gobolinux.org/mailman/listinfo/gobolinux-devel
