Unfortunately that's a known problem with the installer. It doesn't play
nice with NVMe, sadly. We've had some folks who successfully installed the
distro on a regular sda partition and then moved the data to the NVMe. If
you do that, please keep in mind that you'll need to update grub and/or
fstab to point to the new rootfs partition.
