Then a month or so later it turned out we needed it at work, so I did a bunch more work on it and then various performance improvements both as needed for work for my own interest. For example, the compressed table support was initially for my own interest, but then as our data set grew we enabled it.
I agree there is virtually no documentation for it :( I do know however that a few other people are actually running it. I'm in the middle of an international move right now (Amsterdam -> Vancouver), but I'll try to find some time to write some documentation for it.
