Thanks, seems im getting a bit more of an understanding of it now thanks to you guys but confused about the backend of it.... I think i would only require AJAX APIs &/or IP geocoder.? All i want really is to have a world map with a marker as to where the current "Logged-in members/visitors" reside using only their IP address..
The widgets we install get installed into the tables but as to what software or widget or how its programmed is another thing.. i just know how to drop it in there :) As for gears, this is already way above my head.. I can see the IP2Location software and wondered if that it what i could use? Its not for commercial use but purely as something my small gaming community can use to see where our members/visitors are from/located.. My forum uses phpmyadmin SQL Tables which i know stores the users ID name IP etc which i could use.. Im also able to import javascript into *.php files and just upload and then get picked up by the forum.. Could anyone advise on what software i would need to use or a Totorial on how to start please? Here is a screenshot of what my tables look like thanks http://www.onlinegc.co.uk/downloads/tables.JPG --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX API" group.
