If you're comparing the results that you get via the API to the  
results you get on your localized version of Google - in the case of  
Venezuela, google.co.ve - you will always have that dramatic  
difference.  The API is not yet able to pull results from the  
localized indexes, so no matter what you do, you are still pulling  
data from the www.google.com index.  The good news, though, is that  
you can vote for the functionality by starring it in the issue tracker:
