Vinay- On windows you're also able to use XAMP, this installs Apache, PHP and Mysql with a few clicks to get it rocking. Once you have XAMP setup (google it should be able to find ample resources), head over to: http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/ for tutorials on google's apis
