Hello,

If you get the Translate Element through this configuration page, you
can set it to turn off the inline display:
http://www.google.com/webelements/translate/

Is this the functionality that you're looking for?

Also, I'm sorry that there are multiple entry points for this element;
that's definitely something we want to fix in the future.
