I'm having the same problem. I get 500 errors when trying to vacuum or upload indexes. Initially it seemed to be caused by some indexes being in the 'building' state. Once those eventually changed to 'serving' I was able to vacuum the indexes, but now the deleted one appears to be stuck in 'deleting' mode and I consistently get 500 errors when either trying to vacuum or upload. I deleted all the entities in the datastore, but that doesn't seem to help. It would be great if there was a more meaningful type of feedback besides a 500 server error. The dashboard is not much help in this regard. Do you have any suggestions about what I should do?
