I am going to post this in the python group too, but I think it may be a general engine topic.
I recently added some image rotation code (using images.rotate) I put in a JPEG and get out a JPEG. The image I put in is about 28k, the image I get back is 12k. Is there any way to eliminate this degradation? I have ONLY RUN THIS LOCALLY at this point, not on the actual app engine runtime in production.
