Hi there I have an iGoogle gadget which sends data to an AppEngine app. Is it possible for me to authenticate the user with the app from the gadget, so that User() would be the gadget user?
I could send the user's id from the Profile API but I don't see a way to construct a User from a user id. I could construct a User from an email address but unfortunately the gadget API doesn't let me get the email address. What's the best way to authenticate the gadget user with AppEngine?
