Hi Will,
  I've seen those errors in logs before the 1.4 update.  Are you
getting a lot of them?  Also, are you seeing that only on
"loading_requests"?  There was a discussion recently indicating that
instances that raise DDEs will only be killed if the DDE happens
during a loading request.
