And to add to that, I'm still seeing latency in my application in general.
Appstats show that every request completes efficiently from a server
standpoint; it's just a matter of getting between the time of request from
the client and the time that execution begins on the server which seems to
show a delay of a few seconds. I haven't completely eliminated my local
network as the culprit, although I've seen this from 2-3 different networks
which makes it seem less likely it's a client side problem.
