Sorry, I hit post too fast. I do not think this issue affect only a few developers. It is likely affecting all but most will not have energy to track it down. The hardest part about TaskQueue is its "best-effort", non-deterministic nature. It devalues all testing and makes chasing bugs very hard because it makes distilling wrong behavior into a reproducible case next to impossible. The fact that dev-server behaves very differently from production does not help either.
