Until we get an official answer, this issue is rather unclear. I can imagine different scenarios. The optimistic one is that we would be able to get all the help of Google engineers by just submitting a support request, even for free apps. The pessimistic one is that even for premier accounts they won't be able to help because they don't have the right process and infrastructure in place. If a premier account can get us any additional assistance when mitigating a DDoS attack, I'd like to know the details: what are the advantages, what kind of assistance can we get and in what time frame.
