If you can afford $6k a year for support you must be made of money and No-Limit gambles with DDoS'ers about if they can take down your server should be part of your regular existence.
I'm not in premiere, but I noticed I just pick a daily spend, I don't get itemized numbers to budget. I actually prefer capping each separately. For example my app can send email, but it never does. Ever. That's because I only added that for a possibility that has never arisen. I happen to know that if you know the URL that tests if email is working, and the query string to send an email, you could send a spam to anyone you want. But only up to the Free daily limit. That's a security hole in my software that I'm plugging with budgeting. I should fix it for real, but there isn't really a reason to when budgets are in place. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jason Collins Sent: Friday, November 25, 2011 9:05 AM To: Google App Engine Subject: [google-appengine] I can no longer set a Daily Max Budget under Premier Billing Account When you transfer to a Premier Billing Account, all of the settings on the Billing Settings page goes away. This is generally a good thing. However, we like to set a Max Daily Budget for our apps just as a big safety net; it is typically much higher than the daily spend, but also much lower than infinity. I'd still like to be able to lay down that safety net, even under Premier Billing.
