Amy, I went through the Appengine install but got to the same point as many
others--I can't receive my verification code. Since I was desperate (I
NEED this for a class that's starting tomorrow) I tried resubmitting it
several times. Now I'm locked out of the process because I've sent too
many SMS message requests. How is it that Google has chosen such a flawed
method of activation without having a reasonable alternative when things go
wrong? Surely there's a way to do it by e-mail or special codes that would
still meet your security requirements. It's not practical for me to wait
for three days for a response--my class will be long over by then.
Needless to say, I'm astounded that Google, which does so many things so
well, would use this system for activation. I suppose I can always create
a special gmail account for the duration of the class, but I'm hoping not
to do that. Please help!!!!!!!!

Charlie
