I do not believe you without quantitative measurements. I see no reason to believe that something that sucks at low volume will suddenly stop sucking at high volume, and I have a lot of reason to distrust your wild assertions. Also: The system requiring 10 backends is a real-world app with 2k+ simultaneous users. How much more volume do you think it needs?
