Dear ID, sorry that this problem occurred. I have never run into this problem on my website with as many hits. Can you confirm which Frontend Instance Class you are using? I do try to maximize caching as much as possible. I was about to announce the release the latest beta version of GAE-CMS which uses the ndb library instead of db. This might help you out? Otherwise if you can point me to the site maybe I can try debugging a similar setup in a test environment. Thanks and sorry for the late response, I did miss the notification about it in my email.
