I haven't tried it personally. I have heard rumors that it works (and apparently Roninio got it to work: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/google-appengine/dYZejIk7v08/KHzyXcFkF5MJ ) but I don't think it's a 100% success rate issue. With that said, if you're just interested in getting the domain to work I would suggest using Cloudflare's reverse proxy service.
