I would also suggest Google Sites <https://sites.google.com/> or another
simple hosted blog-type platform such as Blogger
<https://www.blogger.com/home?pli=1> or Wordpress.

You mentioned social sharing - that tends to be extremely easy to do, most
blog platforms can automatically include "Share to SocialNetwork" buttons
on each page. You can also advertise your blog/gallery on social networks
by connecting your site feed

Buffer,
<http://blog.bufferapp.com/introducing-rss-feeds-buffer-social-media-sharing>
or
another app to simplify cross-posting to Twitter/FB/etc.
