+1. I would also suggest Google Sites <https://sites.google.com/> or another simple hosted blog-type platform such as Blogger <https://www.blogger.com/home?pli=1> or Wordpress. You mentioned social sharing - that tends to be extremely easy to do, most blog platforms can automatically include "Share to SocialNetwork" buttons on each page.
