After the traffic increased and costs jumped to $80's, I ended up using an existing CloudFlare integration I had, just for the images, saved 90gb's just in the first hour + didn't notice any issues at all So for now, cloudflare saves the day, don't know why I didn't think of using the existing integration before ... :)
