Thanks! Since I'm unable to administer the project in an official capacity, I channeled my inner lawyer and added another disclaimer to the Scary Warning: "This is not an official Google project". And I changed my email from @google.com to @gmail.com. I'll basically stay on as an admin to bootstrap new admins into the project, if necessary.
BUT I still think this is a great idea, and I hope it will make it easier for people to share code.
