I've been thinking about building something similar for POP/IMAP
access. It shouldn't be too hard to modify Perdition
(http://www.vergenet.net/linux/perdition
) to verify the user-supplied credentials, then look up the Google
password in LDAP and use that password for the proxied IMAP/POP
session. I haven't actually done anything with the idea -- but it
seems like it would work. :) I hadn't thought of doing that for
compose window -- I'll look into it. Thanks!
